Walkthrough
After the prologue, you wind up at the crossroads; the spot where all kingdoms meet:
From here you can decide which princess to rescue first. The grey gravel path to the left goes to the Spring Princess, the sandy road straight down is the way to the Summer Princess, and the path on the right between the colored trees leads to the Autumn Princess.
Whichever you decide, you can always change your mind and come back to the crossroads to choose a different path/princess. Once you have collected all of the princesses, you will then be able to head up to the Ice Castle.
Don't forget to speak to the fairy next to the campsite! She will explain how the campfires work.
